Description
This gallery quality Photograph is titled “Red Scar Knoll”. During our trip through Oregon in May we explored the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument. This photograph was taken in one of the 5 accessible areas in the Unit called the "Painted Cove." Taken mid-afternoon there was a breeze moving the haze out. The striking blood-red layers are due to bands of laterite, a soil type that is rich in iron and aluminum.
This Photograph would be a great addition to any fine art collection. It would look great in a den, lobby, waiting area, conference room, restaurant and lounge, bar, café, coffee shop, book store. It would be a great addition to any art gallery. This Photograph would be a center of attention in a corporate lobby, conference room or executive office. Perfect in areas that you entertain friends and family. The living room, entry way, stair case, hallway, family room and home library would be excellent locations for this unique art work. The larger size is perfect for corporations and businesses with large areas that need a special, attention getting artwork that represents the quality of your services or product. These photographs are stunning and the web samples are small digital images that do not convey the rich colors and fine detail.
